The Flintstones In Viva Rock Vegas Is On This Thursday

David Stratton's review from TV Week:

"The first Flintstones film in 1994 was no masterpiece, but it looks like a comedy classic compared to this follow up. In this prequel, we're taken back to Fred and Barney's youthful days in the Bedrock quarry and thier courtships with Wilma and Betty. The script is a lame collection of puns and supposedly family-friendly gross-out joke involving flatulent dinosaurs - but there is no wit as the foursome head to Rock Vegas, where local nightclub headliners include (groan) Mick Jagged and The Stones. Mark Addy from The Full Monty is less effective as Fred than John goodmen was in the original. The same applies to Stephen Baldwin, who takes the role of Barney originally played by Rick Moranis and turns him into a rather sad wimp. 1 Star"

Now, I own this movie on video and find it to be pleasantly ammusing, especially the Mick Jaggered bit.

With that in mind, here is my;
