My friends were all pretty surportive
Fame at last!

It was something of an irony that the colapse of Life Mechanics forced me to live in my car

Now that I was literally in the parking lot of life, I needed a new direction
So I joined The Police

And now I solve all your pop problems - the legal way!

Girls Aloud - My Professional Verdict



Well, after listening to it all the way through, a couple of times, I've come to the conclusion that it's...good. Not really a ringing endorsement, I know. It's not that it's average even, it's above average. It's just that, it could have been better. A lot better. After Sound Of The Underground and No Good Advice, only Wonderwall, sorry, Life Got Cold compares. Life Got Cold is bloody brilliant, no ifs or buts about it. The other two songs I love are Don't Want You Back and White Lies. But I have a problem with them in that they're POP, and not neccessarily in the good way. In the generic way. They are a bit 99/00 Britney/BSB/Nsync/Max Martin. Which would be why I love them. But they aren't really Girls Aloud songs. Some Kind Of Miracle is though, and that's tops. In other news, I don't like Love/Hate at all. The others are all quite bonza though, and I'm really digging Stop at the moment.

All in all I give it 3 and a half stars. If CA reviews it on Thurs (please, please, please), I think he will probably give it 3.
