It was something of an irony that the colapse of Life Mechanics forced me to live in my car

Now that I was literally in the parking lot of life, I needed a new direction
So I joined The Police

Forgotten Albums Weekend

I have a load of albums that I used to really love at the time, but now never play. But they deserve some appreciation for rocking my world, however briefly.

Starting with: Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Read My Lips



I was so pissed off, because I bought this before Murder On The Dancefloor was released, so before she was popular. Therefore I have the version without Get Over You and Music Gets The Best Of Me so I had to buy the singles. That aside, the songs that are on my version are supremely bonza. My tops as track selections are:

1. Is It Any Wonder. Fucking awesome this song
2. Move This Mountain. Sounds a bit like Dido, but try to ignore that
3. Murder On The Dancefloor. A good Greg Alexander song!
4. The Universe Is You. I like the reference to relativity
5. Lover. Hello the Eighties
