It was something of an irony that the colapse of Life Mechanics forced me to live in my car

Now that I was literally in the parking lot of life, I needed a new direction
So I joined The Police

Forgotten Albums Continued

It's Billie - Honey To The B!



I got this the same day I got Shizophonic, as I recall, and I liked it just as much.

It's a bit hard to remember why. But this entire album deserves a mention for containing I Dream, a song so amazing words cannot describe it. Yes, bonza is inadequate at times like this. You've just got to listen to it, to hear a ballad that does not suck in any way, shape or form. I hate ballads. I would say without doubt the top 3000 worst songs ever recorded were ballads. Not the Macarena, not Mambo No. 5 , not the Creed back catalogue, but ballads. Some of them will contain the name Diane Warren in the credits, two of them will be Hero, and Heal The World. But one ballad that will not be there, but will instead be amongst the top 100 best songs ever is I Dream. And it's on Billie freaking Pipper's debut album.
