My friends were all pretty surportive
Fame at last!

It was something of an irony that the colapse of Life Mechanics forced me to live in my car

Now that I was literally in the parking lot of life, I needed a new direction
So I joined The Police

And now I solve all your pop problems - the legal way!

Justifty My Love & Rescue Me
 


If you were to ask me what were the top three most fantastic things a pop song could contain, I would answer that they were:

1. Referencing previous hits/Name checking themselves
2. A rap
3. Spoken word

In that order.

Now, Justify My Love and Rescue Me don't have the first two, but they both contain the last one. In fact, they are for the most part Spoken Word Songs. The spoken word to singing ratio of both is approximately as follows:

For Justify My Love 90:10
For Rescue Me: 70:30

Which actually makes Rescue Me better, because it's more balanced.

Actually, maybe it makes Justify My Love better...and, it probably is the more superior song.

Oh, what does it matter. They both get:
