First of all, where was the Offical I'm Breathless review? Not that I'm complaining, my views can remain undisputed fact now.

Anyway, on to the Immaculate Collection. I have mixed feelings about this 'collection' of songs...perhaps it's time to list what is right, and what is wrong about it.

In fact, yes, it is time...

Bad Edits of songs:

- Holiday
- Lucky Star
- Borderline

I'm not really fussed about Holiday either way actually, but the edits of Lucky Star and Borderline are too short here and cut out some of the best bits 'Whatcha do to me ba-ab-by...' etc.

Bad DIS-Inclusion of songs

Where the hell are:

- Burning Up
- Causing A Commotion
- Gambler?

I almost can't forgive Madonna, for not including those songs.


Bad Inclusion Of Songs

Because, I mean, you leave off the above songs, but include:

- Crazy For You
- Open Your Heart
- Cherish?

Those are clearly inferior.


GOOD Non-inclusion of a song:

I'm certainly not missing True Blue, I'll tell ya that much.


GOOD remixes:

- Like A Prayer
- Express Yourself

I do respect those two remixes very much.


And then...we get to the two new songs:

- Justify My Love
- Rescue Me

Both those songs are so good they are going to need a post of their own. Therefore, this is 'to be continued'...
